The front and back panels I added a blank sheet

so that I can add words or a sentiment.

Distress It With Scrapper's Delights

Well it is the start of another week 

and the start of our next challenge at Scrapper's Delights!

This weeks theme is:
DISTRESSING
and has been brought to us by:

SHANA!
You need to make a project with distressing!
Either distress your paper, use distress inks or sand it on down!

I used a new tool from tonic to distress my paper and image
edges and used distress inks on my background

I used the Holly Hobbie set 1 for my project:

I tried coloring with sepia tones for the first time!
I like how it turned out...
the brown pops a bit more than I usually like
but it works witht he brown rhinestones I think!

I got to use Pin-up Cat this time around...

I used a template from

The Cutting Cafe

Just changes it a bit to make it bigger.

I used paper from Martha Stewart,

roses from Wild Orchid and

colored her with Copics and gel pens!

I know right?

Harder than it sounds!

Herei s what I came up with:

I used the image Jessica

which happens to be GI's freebie when you

sign up to Guylou's group on CDAC!

I made the puddle with acetate and ink and

colored Jessica with Prisma markers.

DTBST #143 Fall Color Challenge

This week out challenge is:

FALL COLORS

you must use red, brown and orange!

I decided to make a tin for Halloween candy.

I used The Evil Queen Honey

Colored her with Copics and gel pens,

used candy pieces and bottle embellies from Martha Stewart,

a tin from Joann's, burlap piece and the ribbon from my stash!

Fairy Tag

I made a gift tag using one of the

fairies from the Fairy Corner digi set

from Scrapper's Delights.

 

 

 

I used a few copics but

mostly Spica pens.

I used paper from one of my packs

(can't remember which one)

tulle behind her and

a little butterfly from my stash.

DTBST #142 Sketch

This week is a sketch!

Here is my take....

I used Jasmine from the Disney Honey's.

Sorry my picture isn't all that clear! Not sure what happened there.

Her entire outfit was clored with Spice pens

but the sparkle is not coming out real well!

The paper is Street Lace by DCWV.

Can't wait to see what you gals come up with!!!





Scrapper's Delights Next Challenge!

WOW these last two weeks have flown by

and it is already time for the next challenge here at Scrapper's Delights!

This time around the theme was chosen by my Teammie

KELLY!

And the theme is make your own stamped paper.

You can use regular stamps or digi ones to create your paper.

I chose one of the new Hollie Hobbie images (#2)

I used a giant plaid stamp I have had forever on

my background paper.

Used sponged ink on acetate for the second layer.

And used ink to paper "stamp" technique on the actual bag I made.

The poem was one I found in one of my books

by Mary Chandler Huff...

I changed it up a bit to make it's wording bettter.

When I think of Holly Hobbie I think of my childhood which

brought lots of memories SOOOOO

I found a template of a "bag" on Scrapper's Paradise and

decided to make a bag of memories.

The poem says...

Those we love

remain with us...

In the whisper of

the blowing wind

In a soft rain

falling from Heaven

In each sunrise in

the morning

In every star that

lights the night

In every memory

we hold in our heart.

This is what I came up with using Lotus Studying:

The hard part for me was the bling!

I used paper from MME Funday, tulle,

a chalkboard charm, and rhinestones. I added

clear star to her laptop...and added my own book titles!

If you could have gotten grades in those subjects I would have had straight A's!!!
