Hi ya!

For my article this week I tried a new technique.

USING.....

Sharpie Markers!

I am thinking I may use these as an art abandonment project...

Have Faith

This months article I created a canvas for a 

wonderful person that is going through a lot.

Her husband was diagnosed in December with lung

cancer and has been going through both radiation and chemo.

I tried something new this time around.

 I glued everything on the canvas, not caring about

color or style but just picked the embellishments hap hazardly!

Then colored them with spray mists..

I have been having so many issues with my home computer

and blogger that it has taken me a few days to get this up and running!

I had my latest article posted in the Mixed Media Art ezine...

For this one I created an altered book...

and created this page/frame

I used some cool techniques and tried some new textures!

You can add a picture inside the frame and add it to a scrapbook or frame it!

Good News

I received some fabulous news!

I have been accepted as one of the writers for

Mixed Media Art Article Writers Team.

I am so excited to be a part of this group!

 

I will be writing an article a month starting in March.

 

For those of you who know me, you know

how much I love to make mixed media and projects that are a bit outta the box!

Writing will be the part that is new to me...

as well as remembering to take pictures each step of the way!
