It's A Sassy Sponsorship!

"Joy Fold Card"

Now I had no idea what this was and had to google it!

There were so many sites out there!

Here is what I came up with..

I used one of the wonderful pinups from the latest release..

Miss Princess Ariel Pinup

I had mine open to the side rather than top to bottom and

used a key as the closer.

It is a littl eloser than what I like but I added a bit of glue so the

key stays a little stiffer but still moves.

Here is my inside sentiment...

I really like this style of card...and easy to do!

Hope you like it enough to go try it yourself!

It's A Sassy Sponsorship!

Happy Memorial Day!
Hope all of you have enjoyed your weekend and have
taken the time to remember, not only the fallen but the other men
and women who serve this country.

Today Sassy Studio Designs

is sponsoring Creative Ceations Challenges

and the theme is

Paper Piecing

Now I do not do a lot of paper piecing...honestly not

sure why...just never got into it but here was my try...

I used GoGoGirl2

Now I probably did this a bit different then most.

I took two copies of the image and on one I used PaintShopPro and colored

it on my computer, so when I printed them out all I had to do was cut the paper and

glue onto the image I colored with Copics.

The boots I was able to do a snake skin and the dress was a hatch pattern.

I could not get my picture to show it that well!

Anyway that is my take on paper piecing.

It's A Sassy Sponsorship

Hi! Wow been a little bit since I posted!

Life's been a bit crazy in our household lately!

Good news is my daughter passed her drivers test and

is now officially a JUNIOR in high school.

Today Sassy Studio Designs is sponsoring

Crafts 4 Eternity

and the theme is

"Get Into Shape"

Must make your project into any shape but a retangle or square.

Here is what I made...

I used my silhouette and cut out the 50th in both black and white

Added Miss Cassie after coloring her with copics.

I kept with the over the hill black theme and I added

some sparkle and shine on her shoes and on her shirt.
