Smile is contagious
A smile costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches those who give it. It takes but a moment,
but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty
that he can get along without it,
and none is so poor
that he cannot be made richer by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home,
promotes good will in business,
and is the cornerstone of friendship.
It can perk up the weary,
bring cheer to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad,
and is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen,
for it is something that is of no value to anyone
until it is given away.
When people are too tired to give you a smile,
give them one of yours.
No one needs a smile so much
as he who has none to give.

Just like this poem says, a smile is contagious and can really light up someone's day. So this week our challenge is about making someone smile! Here's what you have to do...make a new card with the theme friendship, B-day or get well, use the "SMILE BINGO" card (available below), and post it on the challenge blog. If you use a GI digi along with the bingo card you get a chance to win a digi of your choice from Guylou's Inimitability Store. She has some wonderful images that you have to check out!
or you can have a look for a freebie in her group on Crafters Digital Art Center!
Here is what I did for this challenge:
The challenge will run from today until January 6th at 10:00 P.M. (EST) But you want to get your cards posted ASAP. Then maybe you can get 2 cards entered. More chance to win! Have fun. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Beautiful Card. I love that paper you used! Great colors. love the grey and blue!!
Great card Kim...the blue really does stand out on that grey background...and that background paper is beautiful...very unique. I love how you intentionally made the inside slightly off.
I agree that the gray makes the blue pop. I just read in my new Papercrafts mag. that Gray is the new Black. Awesome job on the card.
I like your card a lot. The colours you used are very nice!
