Hello, Hello all you beautiful people in blog-land! Today starts another fun filled challenge at Guylou's Inimitability! This week our host is none other than our beautiful and talents artist/owner Guylou herself. As you can see by the title you can submit anything and I do mean anything that you have created as long as it is not a card! Now at first I thought this would be an easy challenge....I mean hello I make projects all the time that are not cards....and then "light bulb" I can make one of the canvas projects that I have been wanting to do.
So picture this: I am sitting at my computer and I print the picture I kinda like, find the GI image I want, and start to work on the canvas. I bought some kits from a company called "Tilano" and have been saying I was going to do a canvas for the last year! I used the "Forever" heart image and viola! My canvas was finished. I was so excited! Here is what it turned out like:
Looks pretty cool huh? Well I forgot the twist! Hand to forehead! I did not add/use the colors that I was supposed to! I can not believe that I forgot! LOL Leave it to me.
So I made another project using the correct colors:
and here is my clothes pin project:
I used a giant clothes pin that I painted pink, added flowers, and used the image "Playing Dress-up" with a poem that I had in an old book that my mom gave me...I think I got back in 1985. Here are some close ups:
You should check out the other DT blogs listed on the left of my blog and check out Heather, out Guest Designer here.
You have from today through the 18th to get your project done. Don't forget to follow the challenge rules listed on GI and use your color scheme! Don't goof like I did! At least I got one of the canvas' done!
HUGS
