DTBST 140 Based On Favorite Christmas Carol

Hiya!

THis week at the Dare to be Sassy Thursday Challenge

our theme is

Favorite Christmas Carol!

This was hard for me  because I love them all.

But I chose

Deck The Halls!

The paper is from my stash..I have had it for years!!!!

The boughs are hand made with the Martha Stewart branch punch and

beads that I dipped in paint!

I used copics t color Miss Snow White Honey (holiday edition)

and put finger nail decals on her skirt!

Her muff and headband have glitter to make them sparkle!

Sassy Studio Designs DT Call!

Sassy Studio is having a DT call!

I know you all love SSD images and I know you all love to create things

with those images...so why not tryout for the DT?

The DT term will be for 6 months.  We have 3 teams-DTBST (weekly challenge), FFF (freebie friday on pcp), and Sponsorships.  Each team will rotate every 2 months, so that everyone has a chance to do everything.  You will be required to do a minimum of 4 projects a month.  I say this because occasionally it’s necessary to do a little more with the sponsorships.  Although, I try my hardest to limit it to 4 a month.  We also have our releases once a month.  Once in awhile we do special releases, so that would be a little more work too.  But, of course you get all the perks is there is more than one release.   We do love to celebrate lots of stuff around here, so you never know when we will do something special.
We ask that you participate in our release parties as much as possible, we do realize that life sometimes gets in the way. We would also love to see you active in our papercraft planet group. We do ask that you post your SSD projects to our PCP gallery as well. We do require that your project be on your blog when the release or challenge goes live which is 12 am PST.
To get you started you will get to choose 5 images from the SSD store. You will also receive a 30% discount on any other images you wish to purchase.
So……..How do you apply, you ask? Easy, email me(Sara) at luvs2stamp71(at)att(dot)net. Please put SSD dt in the subject line. You will need to attach no more than 3 projects, with 1 of these being a card. Please include a short bio, with links to your blog and any online galleries you might have. We would like to know of any design team experience you’ve had(although none is required), and please tell us why you would like to be a part of Sassy Studio Designs. And of course we would love to see what you do with a Sassy image, so please use this one!

It's party time over at Scrapper's Delights!

Our theme this week it Birthday!

So we want to see your projects that have a birthday theme.

Janice...our wonderful creater and owner came up with the theme because she is

celebrating her birthday on the 2nd of September!

Here is the card I came up with...

I used Tears of a Clown 2.

I used papers from Hippie Chick,

used orange and lime ink on the "frame" and added

glitter to make it shine. The image is

colored with copics.

We are supposed to tell you what our favorite Disney movie is...

well that is a hard one. I truly love Disney.

I had movies before I even had my daughter!

So back to the question at hand.....probably

The Lion King

with Beauty and The Beast and Aladdin right behind!

The theme was pretty much to base your card on the movie she came from

and add some sort of vicious villany sentiment!

I used The Queen of Hearts Honey on my card:

The background paper is a digital background from Scrapper's Delights,

the sentiment came from the same digital kit,

the red brads and ribbon are from my stash.

I colored her with copics and used smooch ink for her crown!

Here is the birthday card that I made for my hUbby

using Japan Honey:

I colored the image in with copics and used paper from Authentique.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is (hopefully) in Japanese! LOL

This is probably my favorite images out of all of the IASMW Honeys..

Even my dogs are Japanese Akitas! LOL

Good Morning!

I have a card to share with you today

that I made using Scrapper's Delights Fairy 2!

I initially made this for the sketch but did not like how

it matched the sketch of the last challenge...

so I just decided to keep it as a birthday card!

I hope you like it!

DTBST #136

This weeks DTBST theme is

White Out!

Your project needs to be all white....only the image can have color!

Here is what I created:

I made a tag or I guess you could use it as a bookmark...but it's a bit lumpy!

I used Katniss, colored her with copics: using a bit of grey for shadows on the dress then all over

with the top coat illuminate by smooch...gives it a very pearlized look

with out being too thick!

I added some flatback string pearls I got from Wild Orchid,

flowers from a package that I bought at Joanns and

ribbon also from Joanns, the rhinestones a star shape that I got somewhere,

 and the back "swirls" are from spellbinders die!

I had tried to make a wedding cake shaped card.....

LOL I messed up several times trying to get just the right

embossing....bleh finally tossed it all and made this.
