Shades of Blue

My niece Becca just graduated

a few weeks ago, but her party was just on Saturday,

in Naples, Florida...

sometimes it stinks to live so far away.

She received a scholarship to UCF and leaves for the dorms on the 23rd!

I made her a 12 x 12 shadowbox frame using two of her favorite colors.

Busy Busy!

This has been a crazy couple of weeks for me.

Two weekends ago was my daughters Junior Prom!

She looked beautiful, if I do say so myself! LOL

The dress was perfect for her!

Here is her and her boyfriend, Mano

So since prom I have been working on 3 12 x 12 fram-ages

for Jenna, Mano and his mom.

As well as several other projects for grandparents.

I am waiting on the pictures I ordered from the actual

picture takers at prom...want to see if they

look better than the ones Dave and I took!

Will post as soon as I get them all finished!

Hopefully will finish the ones for Mother's Day tonight!

Proud Parents

Whew it has been a long, long day!

But it has been worth it.

Brandon...my oldest step-son graduated from the Tucson Police Academy today!

We started out at the academy...at 8

with a slide show of all that had been happening the last 17 weeks.

It was pretty cool to see some of what they went through!

Some of it was pretty funny!

Then we had a few other things through out the day

and ended up with the ceremony at 2.

It was beautiful.

Lots of good speeches and seeing the group

take their oath was pretty special!

They 3 contenders came in at the end of the parade...they each had a corvette and the queen from last year crowned the king and queen.

He was completely surprised when they called his name!

I have no idea what he was doing but he seemed happy! All hail the king! LOL
