More Cards

Here are some cards I did from Some Odd Girls digis.

I used Nana Split...I used copics to color the image and used (man my mind is not working today) clear
dimension glaze on the ice cream scoops. Then I used Smooch Spritz...but used it with a paint brush
rather than spraying it...over each item and then a frost spray (also with paint brush) around the digi.
Here is a close up of the digi.

This one I kept simple. I find masculine cards harder to do. It seems like there are more little boy cards out there (or digis) rather than teen or manly cards. So I tend to lean to the simple on these.

This is the adorable Tia. I did a couple of these cards for a SOG challenge and didn't get them done in time. I like the Some Odd Girl digis because there is a wide variety of them to choose from. You can find people, animals or food! They are fun to play with!

These are just a few I did for a SOG challenge..these I did enter! Post more later!

My Craft Room NOW!

Ok...I went with teal on 2 wals and a teal funky finish on the other 2 walls. I took the closet doors off and took the clothes rods out. Half of the closet all ready had shelves and the other half has a middle shelf. We thought about going hardwood but it was a little more than we wanted to spend. Soooo I bought shelves (Lowes) for one side and a tall table (Target) with the ends that are book shelves. The rest of the stuff is just odds and ends that I have gotten over the years!

First picture with my little Zilla there is taken from the doorway, the second is doorway turned toward the right and there is the closet! In the first picture you can see the side of my table!

Taking you for a walk through my room! This is the wall straight ahead! I have my ink pads, ribbons, flowers, albums, and across the top I have cases that are all labeled with various stuff in them. Like wedding, dogs, etc... Across the bottom of the wall I have my stamp cabinet, and different little cubbies. OH and my favorite...my color cubbies for my copics! Got them for my B-DAY! Here's a close up.

Love this! It was the best money I have ever spent...except for my tall table. LOVE that too! But this is perfect and I can turn around where I sit at the table and BAMB there are my markers!

This is the corner going around the room. This is my desk with my printers to the right, right under the window. The 3 boards (left and right of shelf) are actually peg boards.

Now here is the cabinet closed and open. Yes I know it is self explainitory! HMMM did I spell that right? Oh well. Looks funny! My 12 x 12 papers are in here as well as my 8 x 8 pads of paper. Don't cha just love my giant Mickey Mouse. I got him from Dave and the kids a few years ago at Disney Land.

Hey there are my cubes with my making memories thingy above it. I made my film strip across the top of the wall. It has all my family pictures. It turned out pretty cool.

And then there is my table...it's about 40" tall and has the bookcase on both ends. I have room to spread out or room for another person on the other side. I think I am set with my arranging! Hopefully. Don't think my back can take any more moving!

My Craft Room

When I really started getting into scrapbooking I decided that the dining room table was not going to work. Because of the people/space configuration I was going to take over a corner of Dave's and my bedroom. Of course on my side of the room. I have a few pictures here:

This was how I started...bookshelves and folding tables. Right next to the cabinet with our DVD. Everything was piece meal, put together from what ever I could find/buy on sale! Then low and behold we found a company online that made a cabinet that would hide most of the stuff inside...so I got it for Christmas....

Still have my desk but added the tall cabinet, the stamp cabinet (to the left) and a storage cabinet in the corner...This was nice because most everything is hidden from view but I still wasn't happy...not completely anyway sooooo I found the cubes! They were on sale at Target and I felt it would be perfect!

Here are the cubes. What I liked about the cubes was that my large/long printer was able to fit on one of the shelves. Now mind you I also have a shlving unit and a cabinet in my closet. So now we move forward a few more years....

2009 my stepson Brandon graduates from High School and decides he needs his own place. WAHOO I get my craft room. We spent the summer deciding on paint and making diagrams as to how I wanted everything to go and viola....

All right these are just 2 views of the room and it has changed AGAIN! This is probably the 4th arrangement and yesterday I did it again I will show those on my next post. Yeah keeping you in suspense! HA!

While I Am At It....

Ok here is a few more...

Front and back of a card I gave to my friend Andrea. Digi is from Kenny K's Glam Gang.

Another one from Kenny K.

Just a B-day card I did with a few different digi's.

OK it for now, I promise!

Some Cards I Have Done!

Let's see if I can get a few of these up here. So much to learn...I want to add stuff about some blogs I like and add some of the "candy" photos for prizes but haven't got there yet. Anyway let's start with the cards...

Here's one of Tabitha from Guylou's Inimitability.         I printed the digi on a patterned piece of paper, then printed on plain white and cut and pasted Tabitha (copic colored) on top. I add a friend saying on the side.

This is Colobine also from GI's. HMMM not sure I spelled that right. I kept this simple so she would stand out as she should!

I did another card with this digi but is not on this computer I guess. 'Cause I can't find it!

Sooo here are at least two cards posted. I will get some other cards together and get them done!

Till we type again! Hugs and Love!

Birthday Day!

I am 39 years young today. It is going ok so far. Dave sent me roses and balloons to me at work. They are beautiful. Surprise surprise my daughter called me at 5:30 this morning. Wasn't sure if she was going to remember.
We got mom moved this past weekend. Dava and Brandon rented a truck on Friday and moved the big stuff and on Sunday Dave, Tyler and I helped her move the rest. Got a lot of it organized for her; all she will have to do is unpack...the boxes are near where they are supposed to go. Hopefully that makes it easier for her.
I didn't get one thing done as far as crafting goes. I am hoping I will get back into the swing of things this week and get some stuff posted on here! I received a gift card to Micheals from my sis. So I will get to go shopping! FUN FUN FUN.
I am finally getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow! Only 3 weeks late. I have had to put it off 3 times. So I am excited about that. It's gotten so long on top. So I need it! Maybe I will post a picture!

September Allready!

Hello. I can't believe it is allready September. This has been a weird few weeks for me. While most people are getting ready for the kids to go back to school, I wasn't. For the first time in 8 years I haven't had to buy school clothes or school supplies. It is just weird! Tyler's mom took care of him and of course, Jenna is with her dad.
I am trying to get some pictures of some of the cards and things I have done loaded on here but I seem to always be a day late and a dollar short!
