FFF 11/30 Create A Scene

Hello!
Guess what?
Another week with
2 free images as SSD on PCP!
This week we have either....
Grand Ballroom or Home For The Holidays!
I used the Grand Ballroom...

I used the latest Sassy Santa.
I kept the base of the card pretty simple because of the
coloring on the scene.
Added a Christams Tree sticker and some presents!
Hopefully you can get on over to the site and grab your images!

It's Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Good Morning!
Today starts the next challenge at Guylou's Inimitability!
This week is
Non Traditional Christmas Colors.
THe theme was brought to us by our faithful and talented owner/artist
Guylou!

Here is what I came up with using Roger and Leah Christmas 1

I decided to go with browns.
Even stuck with coloring the image with different shades of browns and golds.
But had to add the flakes!
You can't see that well but there is brown ink on the flakes!
Make sure you check out the challenge blog and see what the other
DT members created!
Can't wait to see what you all create!

FFF Create A Scene

I missed posting this yesterday!
With Thanksgiving I completely lost track of what day it was!
SO here is my FFF project
for the theme
"Create A Scene"

Hopefully you were able to get your freebies...
I used Tropical Scene but both Tropical and Under The Sea
were freebies!
I had a lot of fun coloring this one.
I tried to play around with shading on the mountains and water!
Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Mom!

It's Monday morning...the start
of a short week! YEAH!!!
It was a pretty good weekend...
Patriots won, Steelers lost and I got my mom's B-day frame done!

I just took an acrylic frame, added gesso and then
fiber paste for a mat. The paste has 2 colors of alcohol inks
added to make the teal color.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid, the heart, pin and tag are
from Michael's mixed media section.
I added crystal stems and bead stems around the flowers.

Here is the card I made...

My image is from Saturated Canary
Her name is Whispy.
I colored her with Prisma Markers and clear star.
The skirt part of her dress is actually popped up to give some dimension.

I would like to enter the card into the following challenges:
Challenges 4 Everyone                                                               Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenges                                                           Anything Goes

Thank You For....

Have you ever noticed that the closer you get to Sunday
the faster the week goes and the closer you get to the end of the year
the more time flies?
Well, both have certainly happened for me!
My weekend is almost over and
I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is this week.

Speaking of Thanksgiving...
being thankful is our theme this week at Scrapper's Delights!
Bought to us by Miss Gloria!

Here is the card I made using Stargazer Girl

The papers are form one of the vintage paper pads I have
and can never remember the name of! LOL
I added brown ribbon and the brown roses!
I used copics to color the image.

Check out the challenge blog for all deets!

sheet of paper that has post cards on it.
I added some sticker stamps, paper flowers and leaves,
and stamped one of the Tim Holtz ticket stamps on an
inked sheet of Kraft cardstock!
Oh and some vintage ribbon.

A Bigger Than Average Card

Hi everyone!
I hope you have had a wonderful weekend.
Outside of working on Saturday it hasn't been too bad! LOL
My husbands family has been going through a lot lately.
It started out a few weeks ago with Dave's brother Warren,
he fell down some stairs and ended up with some sort of brain injury.
At first there was no response, no activity at all.
Then on Saturday we got a call from Steven, Dave's other brother,
saying that Warren has been moving.
When asked he gave a thumbs up, moved his arm and moved his leg.
This is huge. We thank God that there has been
some sign that he could come out of this.
Any prayers you can send out we appreciate!

Here is a card I made...

It is just over 8.5" x 11"
and I used pictures from when the 3 boys were little!
We have plenty of room for every one to sign!

Thank you for visiting!
Have a fantastic week!
