Happy Friday!

I am so glad it is Friday!

Not only because of the FFF (2 images this week)

but this has been a long week.

 

SO this week the theme for FFF is texture.

We want to see your projects with texture...

paint, fabric, embossing, feathers whatever just give us texture!

 

I sponges and sprayed my back ground...used glitter for me letters...and puff balss for my spiders!

 

 

I used a template for the card and fussy cut my image.

I used a clear star gel pen to go over her dress, boots and pumpkin face!

A Little Something!

Today I have a little something to show you...

I have been really wanting to get into more mixed media...

AND Soldering!

Now I have purchased most of what I need BUT don't have it all

in my hot little hands! Trying to be patient!

So here is something I have been working on...

I used Autumn Nyph 2

and added my scene using Autumn Sunrise kit.

Both of course can be found in the Scrapper's Delights store!

Scrapper's Delights Sketch Challenge!

Sunday started the latest challenge at

Scrapper's Delights.

This week we have a sketch brought to us by Laurie!

Here is my take...

I used Copic markers on my image, Autumn Nyph 2

I fussy cut her and removed the pumpkin,

glitter on her wings,

paper from Today, Tomorrow, Forever by Recollections,

buttons and ribbon from my stash!

This week the SSD Fabulous Friday Freebie is the

"Evil Sorceress!

In my mind I saw something different...

but this is what came out of all that thinking...LOL

I wanted it to be dark and spooky and went

with the darker purple for my mats and her dress

but every picture I took it doesn't have the pop like it does in person!

1,2,3, Can U Scare Me?

Welcome to another challenge at

Guylou's Inimitability!

This week the theme came from me!

I have had Halloween on the brain, can you tell?

Anyway the actual challenge is

1 Ribbon

2 Embellishments (flowers, metal, etc..)

3 Decorative Papers

 

I made a treat bag using the new

"Frankein Miguel"

 

 

I considered the RIP to be one embelly and the skull to be the other.

You cannot see the ribbon that is a handle and

of course the bow holding on the tags.

My decorative papers came from Martha Stewart

and I used one for the bag, one for the large tag (bats) and

one for the inside and the to, from tag.

The bag/holder is supposed to have a whole rather

than a ribbon handle but I liked the tombstone look!

SSD Mini Release Halloween Hop

Hi every body!

Hope you are enjoying the hop so far!

These ladies have completely rocked this challenge

For this wonderful mini release I got to use

Miss (kick butt) Vampire Slayer!

I made a canvas card...the back has a place for writing...almost like a post card!

We had a Halloween Bingo Card to play with...

I chose the top line bat, bird, spooky sign, fence and web...then

because I liked the whole cemetary feel I added tombstones!

Scare Me Silly With Scrapper's Delights!

WOW it is Sunday already!

Been a very short weekend...too short!

This week at Scrapper's Delights I got to choose the challenge theme!

I decided to go with:

Scare Me Silly!

I am one of those people who love horror films, books and well Halloween.

I actually read IT by Stephen King when I was 13.

OK back to the challenge!

Here is what I came up with using one of Janice's newest "Autumn Nymph" (#1)

My watermark covers  a bit of the spider and web! LOL

My nymph turned out a little more orange than what I was going for.

The flowers and leaves on her body I tried to make look more like spider webs using a spice pen

and her wings are a combination of spica and gel pens.

In person she actually has a bit of evil in her eyes! LOL

Also 16 years ago today I was blessed with my

daughter Jenna Nicole!

 

As much gray hair she has given me,

nights laying awake wondering what kind of parent I am,

tears of frustration,

it matches

the laughter,

the hugs,

the joy

and the love she has given me!

 

 

 

OK I should have cut this...

This was at a party Jenna and I went to...

Yes that is what I look like after working and NO makeup at all! LOL

But that is my beautiful Sweet 16 Girl!

 



GI Challenge Just To Die For

This week starts our next challenge at

Guylou's Inimitablity!

Chana one of my charming and talented DT teamie chose

"Just To Die For"

You need to make a project with

your favorite fancy die!

I chose to use one of my new dies from Memory Box.

 

 

The picture did not show the die very well but

the tub and water turned out the best in this picture!

I used copics to color Lotus in Her Bath...

I used liquid pearls for the bath and water.

I liked the laquer look!

I used new firework spray on the paper and the die cut,

used mesh, vellum and a piece of textured paper

for the "stuff" behind the tub!

FFF Support A Cause!

Hi all!

It's Friday and that means it is time for a freebie!

This weeks Fabulous Friday Freebie is:

Support A Cause!

The theme is "Support The Girls"

so your project should be for encouragement or support

AND a bonus for adding PINK!

 

Here is what I made:

 

 

 

I colored her with Copics and Prisma markers.

The paper is from Posh by Teresa Collins,

butterflies from Martha Stewart, flowers and pearl string

from Wild Orchid and

the words are rub-ons.
I chose "Hope" and "Inspire" because I think that
those two words are perfect for cancer survivors...
they inspire me and give me hope...my father, both grandmothers,
grandfather and uncle died from some sort of cancer....

I really wanted this to post first thing this morning but

I was so sick yesterday with one of my

wonderful headaches, I never turned on my computer

or left my bed!

I decided to do something a bit different for my picking...

my husband sugested I should send a ittle something to
