Some Exciting News WAY LATE!!!

Hey All! This post should have gone up on Wednesday but lucky for me I got hit with a wonderful headache! Hit me hard on Tuesday and ended up at urgent care on Wednesday and still down yesterday. I did not want to move let alone look at my computer! But I am back and whew it's Friday!

ANYHOOOOO I have some great news! I was accepted as a team member at Scrapper's Delight! I know can you believe it! I am so stoked! Of course I wouldn't be me if I didn't completely mess up my first challenge! LOL Yes it started Wednesday! We will just pretend that I am on time OK...our little secret!

You can see the challenge is back to school! And there are some great prizes you can win. And heck there are some great sales going on at Scrapper's Delight that you can get soooo much for so very little!

For my Back to School theme I decided to create a scene and then attach said scene to a lunch box. I made this for my daughter...I know she is in high school but she wanted something one of a kind and she got it!!!!

Here is my creation!
This of course is the front! I used 3 characters from Scrapper's Delight kits: Bridget (check the store for a freebie) and Chin and Cho. I colored my back ground with copics and then used a varnish over the top to try and keep it protected. Here are some other views....

This is the back and I added a few images from Kenny K...the back ground are images from Make It Crafty! I printed on two different 8.5 x 11 papers and then affixed them with spray adhesive. It was still a little short so I added a tag with my info.

I think it turned out pretty good! BUT mam oh man that was a lot of coloring! Next time I think I would do some of it in Paint Shop Pro. LOL

Hope you like it!

Don't forget to check out the other Team Members and all the info here.

Wow...oh wow, wow, wow, wow, WOW!!! I am totally in awe and speachless! Yup, you have done the unthinkable...you have made me speachless. O.k...only for a couple of minutes while I took in every detail of this incredible creation, but still a major feat in itself. Jenna must have been over the moon when you presented this awesome piece of creativity to her! I am so with Sara and Janice....Scrappers Delights is so lucky to have you on their team...and Jenna is so lucky to have a mom that loves her so much that she put this much time and love into something so very special for her.

Wow! What an incredible project. The girl who uses this lunch bucket will be the envy of the school cafeteria. I had no idea you could do anything like that with digital images. This is really impressive and beautiful, Kim.

Congratulations on becoming a member of the DT at CDAC's Progressive challenge for September. I can see why they picked you.

Please visit me at my blog, Tickell Expressions.

Blessings,
Teresa
