Here is my card using the beautiful
Renaissance!
I popped her dress up to give it a bit more dimension.
I think she is such a lovely image!
OK on to the hop info!

We have been asked to list our favorite tool and least favorite and why.
So I will tell you my favorite...
It is called "Perfect Layers"
This was one of my very first tools I ever bought.
It came with a cutting mat, exacto knife and 3 rulers.
At that time I was more into scrapping and
putting frames around the pictures for my layouts.
There are good and bad reviews of this product but I have to say overall my review is great.
There are a few tricks to using them but it helps to make your
borders straight and neat!
I have never been able to find the set that I purchased that
came with every thing but you can find several different sets here.
Basically each ruler has four sizes 1/8, 1/16, etc... and you put your picture or whatever on the paper you want the mat to be and line up...forget it I am not going to try to explain it! LOL Too long and boring...there is a video on that site as well!
So this would have to be my favorite tool!
My least favorite is soooo hard to say. There are a few things that I wish I had waited to get or things I should not have bought because I already owned something that does the same thing.
My newest tool that I am disappointed in would have to be the i-magicut ribbon cutter.....
I think it does ok on regular ribbon, but try one with the painted on dots and it doesn't cut it very well and can even melt it a bit. Si I am going to go back to my old stand by called fray check...that stops the ends from fraying!
DEETS: First prize will be 3 of the new images...BUT you must leave a comment on the SSD Blog stating YOUR favorite/least favorite tool...there will be 2 winners that will get 1 of the new images....BUT you must leave love on each of the DT's blog...you never know which comment from whose blog will be chosen!
From here you hop on over to Lori's blog to see what fabulous creation she has made!
Here is the hop order just in case!
I may just have a little surprise for some random commenter too!

My favorite tool is my copics for sure and my least favorite is my light box what a waste
Hey, Kim, Your card is fantastic! I hope I have time to do the hop! I started to buy the perfect layers, but I am pretty good at thin layers so I decided to wait. The have other neat stuff too, though. My favorite tool is my Sizzix Big Shot/Pro. I use the Big Shot more than the Pro, but I love them both. They give the best impression when embossing and are wonderful for dies...all dies!
